My drawings are integrally associated with my sculptures. They are part of a collective unfolding of the ship form. A constant in my drawings reference metaphorical and psychological imagery that parallel three-dimensional work.

A part of this approach are the overlapping series of mixed-media drawings. These are small works that I sometimes expand into larger drawings, all which inspire new sculptures.
